Regulatory shocks

A second major-jurisdiction enforcement action (post the 2023 $4.3B settlement, UK FCA cancellation, multiple historical warnings in IT/MY/SG/JP/DE) could erase 6–12 months of acquisition. Mitigation: jurisdiction-tier compliance roadmap + insurance fund visible to user.

US TAM lock

Binance.US can't operate in NY, HI, AK, ME, AS, with paused registrations elsewhere. The world's deepest crypto wallet pool is fenced off. Mitigation: licensed partner stack or M&A; explicit "compliance first" PR rhythm.

Derivs share erosion

OKX, Bybit, Hyperliquid taking share on derivs and onchain perps. Mitigation: pro-trader feature parity sprint, Alpha listings as flywheel, Binance Wallet × prediction markets.

CT sentiment + scam-spoof risk

CR7 collab has already drawn scam-fear coverage. Mitigation: aggressive anti-impersonation legal arm + an in-product "verified" feed.
